A Final Act of Mercy

Revelation 3:18 says, "I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire that you may be rich and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed and anoint your eyes with is eye salve that you may see."

One of the final acts of God's mercy on a society that will soon face its judgment is that He will pull back the veil of its self-view and show what we as a collective people have become. So it is with America today. God is, in the hope of mercy, allowing us to see how corrupt this generation is. We are no longer virtuous people.

Our only hope is that we would not only see our condition but also the willingness of Jesus to visit and abide with us one more time. He's at the door. He's knocking.

It's time to pray.
