DON'T BE AFRAID TO COME HOME

DON'T BE AFRAID TO COME HOME

One day we will fully understand the mercy of God. His incredible mercy that reached down to us in our lowest state, not only to redeem us, but to invite us to share in His life through the Holy Spirit living within us. He promised that we could become new creations and vessels He uses to bring glory to His name.

Who can boast before God? No one. All we can do is worship, give thanks, and remain grateful that God is good and that He has invited us to be part of His plan to bring people from darkness into the light of Jesus Christ.

I recently had the privilege of being in London and hearing Pastor Tim preach in a way I had never heard before. It was not just a message. It was the cry of God’s heart for the lost. In every service, people came to Christ. It was a powerful reminder that behind every camera, every service, and every ministry moment, there are real lives being touched.

We are living in a mercy moment. A window of time where the gospel can still be preached freely. God is calling us to step forward, to break through fear, and to become who He has called us to be.

Fear is often the greatest barrier. I know this personally. As a teenager, I lived with overwhelming fear and panic attacks. It controlled where I went and how I lived. Years later, after coming to Christ, fear tried to return. But this time I held onto a single promise: If God is for us, who can be against us?

That night, I chose to stand on God’s word instead of fear. I prayed, resisted the enemy in the name of Jesus, and in that moment God set me free. One promise, truly believed, broke years of bondage.

God often calls us into new places that feel impossible. Like Joshua, we may feel unprepared, weak, or afraid. But God’s promise remains the same: I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.

The battle was never about our strength. It has always been about God’s faithfulness.

Fear will speak loudly. Addiction will speak. Despair will speak. Giants will stand in the way and say, You will serve me. But faith answers, I come in the name of the Lord.

Sometimes it only takes one stone. One word from God. One moment of trust.

For some, the greatest fear is not the battle ahead but coming back to God. That is why Jesus told the story of the prodigal son. A son who failed, ran away, and came home filled with shame. Yet while he was still far off, the father ran to him, embraced him, and restored him completely.

That is the heart of God.

When you come home, He covers you with grace, restores your identity, and sends you out with purpose. He does not ask you to fix yourself first. He simply says, Come home.

This message is not for a few. It is for all of us. Whether you have wandered, grown fearful, or simply drifted from your calling, God is calling your name.

My son. My daughter. Come home.

Come as you are. Come with your failures and your fears. He has already taken your sin upon Himself. He will cover you, empower you, and send you out.

And your message can be simple: You can come home. God is good.
