Holy Desperation

CARTER CONLON
September 15, 2021
If those who plotted to kill all the Jewish people during the book of Esther had been successful, then we can conclude that the temple wouldn’t have been rebuilt. Jewish history would have been different. It would have affected all of history. We give Esther the marquee in the whole story because she was the queen, she prayed, she fasted, and she petitioned the king. However, another hero in the story is her uncle Mordecai. He was a man who began to intercede, and it proves to us once again that the holy desperation of one person can change both the future and change history. We must ask God for a holy desperation in our generation.

Into Your Hands I Commit My Spirit

CARTER CONLON
September 9, 2021
It will be through God that we find victory. Jesus came to the point in His journey where He had done all He could do on the earth on the cross, and now it was up to God to raise Him from the dead. Jesus committed His spirit into God’s hands, and God raised Him from the dead, fulfilling His part of the covenant. In the same manner, as we pick up our cross and take this journey with God, we cannot fulfill what He has called us to do without Him. If we are going to be victorious in this life, it will be through God that we find victory. Trust God to fulfill His promises over your life.

Getting to the Place of Moses

CARTER CONLON
September 2, 2021

When we get to this place that Moses was in,
this place that the apostle Paul found when he said,
“when I'm weak then I'm strong”,
he was not just not filling words on a page to write in scripture,
he understood something that we lost in our generation of constantly building up the natural man.
In America in particular,
we've spent all of this time building ourselves up,
just to go out and fail and leave our nation in bankruptcy,
when in reality,
the power of God is found when we finally get to the end of ourselves.....
the end of ourselves is the beginning of God.
It's time for the weak, the drug addict, the drunk, the depressed, the single mom,
it's time for those who feel hopeless,
it’s time for you to rise up in the power and strength of your God,
and be a voice for God,
and be a testimony for God.
It is not about your success and is not about your failure....
it is Christ in you, the Hope of Glory....
not bringing a message about Christ,
but Christ getting his message through you...
through a surrendered vessel.

A Sure Path Through the Coming Storm

CARTER CONLON
August 25, 2021

The storms are approaching in this country, and we are being called of the Lord to come boldly to the throne of grace. There is never going to be an awakening or change if someone doesn’t come boldly to God. It will not be by our power but that of God. The time has come for the people of God to pray courageously; what would you have me to do?

Finding the Will of God

CARTER CONLON
August 18, 2021

The will of God is revealed in the Word. God doesn’t want to hide His will for you. You can find the will of God only in God. He wants you to see, believe it, walk in it and grow in it, no matter how small it may appear to be. Ask for His will to be revealed to you today.

When Someone Decides to Pray

CARTER CONLON
August 10, 2021

We are living in a moment in which God is calling the weak to prayer. Our cities and streets are dark; we cannot overcome them by our own efforts; we need God, we need to decide to pray. Moses decided to pray and stand in the gap for others; he was later strengthened, guided, guarded, and taught by God. God is on the throne and can do the same with you.

Friends, throughout the Bible, God provides the reminder that Jesus came for those who feel empty, bound, rebellious, foolish, and for those who rely on the world's wealth. Psalm 107 speaks about a prayer that takes on a depth that can only emit a cry. God hears that cry, for He is not willing for anyone to perish. God's mercy is here for you.
