You Are The Light VII

John 3:21 says, "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

To be the light that Jesus wants us to be requires a daily heart check. A good lighthouse keeper will examine the glass regularly, lest any spot or smudge should diminish its ability to reach those looking for safety. We do not need to be afraid when the Holy Spirit shows us something that is diminishing the testimony of God through us. Sometimes, little attitudes of the heart that we justify need to be wiped away by the presence of God.

Let Jesus keep His light shining through you. Don't be afraid of the touch of His hand. It's always for your good. You are the light of the world.
