What Are We Teaching Them?

Psalm 33, beginning in verse 10, says: "The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the plans of the people of no effect. The council of the Lord stands forever. The plans of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."

Recently, I was reading a front-page article in USA Today that stated that over 155,000 of our college students in America were dealing on campus with mental health issues, and that's just in 2016 alone. They're unable to cope with any stress, critical thought, or even opinions differing from theirs.

The deeper question in all of the analysis wasn't even asked, which is, “What are we teaching them?” Is our nation coming to nothing because of our counsel? America, it's time to humble ourselves and get back to God.

It's time to pray.
