Welsh Revival: Nine Cents Worth of Liquor
Hebrews, chapter 13, verse eight says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."\n\nWe're talking about the Welsh Revival. From an article by Oliver Price, the Times noted that David Lloyd George, who later became the British prime minister, said the Welsh Revival gave hope that at the next election, Wales would declare with no uncertain sound against the corruption in high places, which handed over the destiny of the people to the horrible brewing interests. Prayer had deeply affected one of his own rallies. In one town, only nine cents worth of liquor was sold on a Saturday night.\n\nWe, in America, have been given a chance to regather and to pray. By God's grace may we do it. I'll say again, by God's grace may we do it.\n\nIt's time to pray.
