We Should

Luke chapter 21, beginning at verse 25: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

In these verses, Jesus speaks of a time coming to this world that may be sooner than most of us would like. Buildings will collapse. Fortunes will be lost. The future will have no bright horizon.

2 Peter 3:11 says, in part: “Since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be?” I suggest, as Christians, that if we care for the people of this world, that we are a people of prayer. We can ask God to give them life, light, and a future in Heaven. We should.

It’s time to pray.
