We Can Get Back

Hebrews 12:2 says: "Looking unto Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

The American church has erred greatly in its theology. We've taken the great truths of the gospel and focused almost entirely on ourselves—our lack of ability to see our purpose has left us vulnerable and ineffective.

The good news is that we can consider Christ again, who, after being given for the sake of others, now sits in complete and overcoming victory. We can return to our purpose, which begins in the prayer closet.

It's time for the church to pray.
