We Are Promised the Victory

2 Timothy 2:3 says, "You therefore must endure hardship asa good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles him self with the affairs of this life that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also, if anyone competes in athletics, he's not crowned unless he competes according to the rules."

Now, most today who study the elements of a victorious army would agree that a fighting force that is too long unchallenged can lose its focus. It can begin to forget its purpose, become diverted, and quickly be brought to surrender through opposition.

There is a promise of great victory and reward if we will again consider God's intended purpose for us as His church in our time. Let's not back away from the challenge that's ahead of us.He promises us victory. Through Christ, we are more than conquerors.

It's time to pray.
