We Are Not to Be Afraid

2 Kings 6:14 says, "Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city."

Have you ever woken up already surrounded, whether it's by a struggle in your mind, a sudden change in circumstances, or even a change in your relationships? During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have been visited by depression due to job loss or many other circumstances. Being overwhelmed by the things that surround us may be our natural response, but God is reminding us that He surrounds that which would try to take us captive.

No matter what terror comes by night, you and I are not to be afraid. Though we see many falling on every side, we may look to God and take refuge in Him through prayer. It's here we fight and win our battles and find courage to move forward victoriously every day.

It's time to pray.
