The God Who Never Leaves

The writer of the book of Hebrews, in chapter 13, verse five, makes an incredible statement in the latter part of that verse. Speaking about Jesus he says, "For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"\n\nSo often we can be tempted to feel forsaken even by God, overwhelmed by a sense of inadequacy or the sting of recent failure. We doubt the resilience of God to keep loving us.\n\nRemember today that the one who died for you has proven that He will fight to keep those who belong to Him. All that He requires of you is not perfection, but a sincere heart. Today, fall in love again with Jesus and His cross. He has promised to never leave you and to never forsake you. You can take that to the bank.\n\nIt's time to pray.
