Take That, Devil, Take That!

Hebrews, chapter 10, beginning at verse 35, "Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."

It shouldn't surprise any of us that storms come upon us from time to time. The apostle Peter tells us that even the most severe trials which come our way shouldn't be seen as some strange and unexpected thing. We have an enemy who will oppose our advance. He will do all in his power to convince us that you and I are not going to make it.

Remember, though, that the One who is with us has the power to calm every storm. No matter how much water might be in your boat today, stand up with Jesus and in the power of His might say these words, "Take that, Devil, take that!"

It's time to pray.
