Pray For Our Leaders
In 1 Timothy 2:1, Paul says, "Therefore, I exhort first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God, our savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
The Bible tells us that we're to pray for our leaders. We're to pray for all who are in authority. It doesn't say that we're always to agree with the way they're leading, but through our prayers, there might be godliness and peace in the land and that our leaders might come to the knowledge of true salvation.
God, Himself declares this attitude of our hearts to be good and acceptable in His sight. That's what matters.
It's time to pray.
