Look Around Today

Isaiah, chapter 61, verse four: “And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.”

Today, this incredible verse of scripture clearly shows each of us that our lives have an amazing and divine purpose. Having been lifted out of our former captivity and sorrow, we are commissioned of God to rebuild decaying cities and societies, though they might have been in long-time ruin. Yet, the promise remains that all of us are divinely called and enabled to restore them to spiritual health.

Have you considered that you've been called to a much higher purpose than you have yet realized? Look around you today. Look at the abounding sorrow and the decay everywhere. You have been called to rebuild it.

Remember now, it's time to pray.
