Let's Not Forget

Deuteronomy Chapter 6, verses 6, 7, and 12, say: “And these words, which I command you today, shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. Then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage.”

God wants us to pass on what He has spoken to us to the next generation. If we forget our history, we will forget who delivered us and where we are supposed to be going. Let's not forget that God has taken us out of a place where we once were held captive.

Let's teach our children and those around us about the power of God. It's time for all of us to begin to speak about these things to our children, and it's time to get the courage to do so.

It's time to pray.
