Just Cry Out to Him

The book of Exodus, chapter three, verse seven: “And the Lord said: ‘I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.’”

There are things in our lives that we once turned to for help and comfort, but after a little abuse or dependency, it became our taskmaster. Whether it's a substance, a relationship or something that has taken God's place, you'll know you have a taskmaster when you've settled somewhere that, in your heart, you know you shouldn't be.

You don't have to live in defeat. There's freedom in Christ. The word of God reminds us that the gift of life is Jesus. God will deliver you if you really and truly want out. Just cry out to Him, He will hear you and answer. People are joining us from all over the world every Tuesday night, 7:00 PM, Eastern Time at tsc.nyc, and let me tell you, God is setting them free.
