Jesus is the Bread of Life
John, chapter six, verses 33 to 35: "'For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.' Then they said to Him, 'Lord, give us this bread always.' And Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst."
Jesus is the bread of life. When we feast on His life and on His promises, through the reading of His Word and prayer, we will live. David the psalmist speaks about a feast that will be prepared for us in the presence of even our enemies. Through His Word, God promises to give us strength against everything that is sent to oppose us, especially in the midst of all of our trials. David says these words, "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8)." It's time to taste of the promises of God.
Remember, it's time to pray.
