In Psalm 26:6-7, King David says these wonderful words: "I will wash my hands in innocence, so will I go about Your altar, O Lord, that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all your wondrous works."
It's so important to approach God with a desire to have clean hands and a pure heart. The scripture warns us that if you and I give place to doing wrong in our hearts, that our prayers will be hindered. Not only will our prayers suffer, but also the testimony of God through our life.
On the contrary, the pure in heart will see God. They will see Him every day. They will see Him doing powerful things in their lives that are too good to keep to ourselves. That's why David says, "That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of your wondrous works."
Remember, my brother, my sister, it's time to pray.
