It Was Really that Simple

Psalm 40:8 says, “I delight to do your will, oh my God, and your law is within my heart.”

God took David out of a place of confusion, fear, and difficulty when David opened his heart to the voice of God. He didn't try to figure it out for himself. He didn't form a league with the proud who resisted the ways of God. He didn't gravitate to lies about the past, the present, or the future. He was simply open to hearing God's voice. It was that simple.

Don't come to God to have your agenda. Listen to God's voice. Listen to what He's asking you to do. He will equip you for the journey. Trust His leading, delight yourself in God's will for your life and allow God's words to be anchored in your heart. And above all, remember you can talk to God.

It's time to pray.
