It's Time to Stop Walking Around Defeated

John 3:16 and 17 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

The purpose and mission of God in this world have been to save sinners. God didn't send His Son Jesus because we were noble, righteous, strong, or because we had it all together. Jesus came because we're weak and we're foolish.

God sent Jesus because only He could be the bridge between the Kingdom of God and us. Jesus Christ went to the cross and took our sin, our shame, and even the foolish things we do as believers and nailed it all to the cross. It's time for you and me to stop walking around defeated and begin to grab hold of His promises for us again.
