In God we Trust
Psalm, chapter 56, beginning at verse one: "Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up; Fighting all day he oppresses me. My enemies would hound me all day, for there are many who fight against me, O Most High. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), in God, I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?"
It seems incredible to me that the words we once engraved on our coins were perhaps prophetic for the moment in which we're now living. It's as if our forefathers knew that we would need this trust to face the godlessness that has become so emboldened in our time. It also tells me that God had a plan, even for our time. If we will pray, it will undoubtedly unfold supernaturally right before our very eyes. Yes, my dear friend, in God we trust.
It's time to pray.
