He Made a Way For Us

The book of Romans, chapter six, verse 23, tells us that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. God sent a Savior for us. He made a way for us to come into eternal life. He sent His Son to a cross. He allowed Him to be falsely accused, to be beaten, whipped, and scourged on our behalf, so that you and I might be forgiven. It is through Jesus that God promised to give us life. It is through Jesus He vowed to forgive everything that we've ever done against Him. God made a way for us. You and I, we're like drowning people and God threw us a life ring into the ocean of our struggles and our failures.

What have you done with that salvation that God has made available to you? Have you opened your heart to Jesus Christ? If you haven't done that yet, it's time for you to do it. Today, take a moment. Ask him.
