God Will Not Be Mocked

Psalm 12, verses 3 and 4: "May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things, who have said, 'With our tongue we will prevail, our lips are our own, who is Lord over us?'"

I don't know if there are any more arrogant people in our society than some in the movie and entertainment industry. Fearing nothing but their own loss of adoration, they set their tongues against all the right that God has to govern the conduct and the ways of men. They repetitively curse the name of Jesus, as if daring Him to challenge their right to rule their own lives. Not only are they at fault, in fact they live on a fault. We must pray for them. They just might soon find out that as scripture says, "God will not be mocked."
