Don't Miss Out on What God Has for You

Matthew 16:24-25 says this: "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

Many people take up their cross in their natural strength with their natural zeal and wisdom, and these same people will eventually fall. Because if you're picking up the cross in your strength, we must recognize that we can't have victory unless the power of the Holy Spirit is guiding us.

We can't walk this walk with our zeal or in our understanding. And we can't pick up our cross and try to preserve ourselves simultaneously. If we try to keep our lives and value system, we will lose everything God tries to give us. Don't take up your cross without the power of the Holy Spirit, and don't miss out on what God has for you.

Remember, it's time to pray.
