Don't Let the Rubble Discourage You
Nehemiah, chapter 2, verse 17: "Then I said to them, 'You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.' And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king's words that he had spoken to me. So they said, 'Let us rise up and build.' Then they set their hands to this good work."
There are seasons throughout history where God calls His own people to rebuild their testimony, which through neglect has fallen into ruin. It's not a time to stand in hopelessness because of the magnitude of the decay. It's a time to roll up our sleeves, to clasp our hands in prayer and unity, and set ourselves to this good work. With God, all things are still possible. Don't be discouraged by the rubble that stands in your way.
It's time to pray.
