Don't Hide From Human Need

Isaiah chapter 58, verses seven to nine: "And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then, shall your light break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; You will cry and He will say, 'Here I am.'"

It's been said that when we focus solely on ourselves, we lose sight of God. Do you want your heart to burn with compassion and to see Jesus in your everyday life? Then don't hide from human need. If you want a year where you'll see wonders, ask God to open up your heart to the needs of those around you. Then, He says, "You'll call out to Me and I will answer you when your prayer is for the needs of others as well as for your own."
