Are You Still in the Way

2 Thessalonians 2:7 says: "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Who has left that still doubts but that a spirit of lawlessness has been unleashed upon this world in our time."

We are witnessing the rise of a generation that wants no borders, no boundaries, no morality, no rules, no restraints, nothing absolute, and all that was formerly wrong to be called right. The Bible states that only one power stands in the way that has the authority to hold it back.

Many believe that this power resides in the active work of God's Holy Spirit in and through the church of Jesus Christ, which now begs the question. Is God still restraining evil by his active presence in your life, or have you already been taken out of the way?
